housing :
LA DEMEURANCE
Ancien house, restaured in 1990,. It can house 6/7 persons during the french school holidays.
For the other periods of the year , the house can be rented to 2/3/4 persons : the rent is thus according to the number of tenants .
The accomodation includes a large living room with a fire place and kitchen, four bedrooms = two with a double bed , and two with a single bed, (a child bed can be lent if necassary), a bath room, toilets, plus a washbasing in one of the rooms.
Washing machine, dishswaher,microwawe, kitchen fully equiped.
Garden furniture, barbecue, central heating.
The house views South-East, and the garden is yours. No danger for the children for it is situated in a small hamlet 500 m from the village with no traffic road nearby.
The DORDOGNE river at 800 m can be swun in.
CALVIAC village itself is 12 km from SARLAT and 13 from SOUILLAC
ACTIVITIES
Many hikings are possible in the surroundings, a cycle track (bikes to hire not too far) canoeing on the river. There is a golf course at 5 km. A tour of the medieval town of SARLAT is not to be missed. A public tennis court is available in the village.
Numerous villages around though less famous have nevertheless a wonderful charm. Caves and castles are eager to meet you.
And for the greedy ones the local food will delight them.
